Casa Marianella welcomes displaced immigrants and promotes self-sufficiency by providing shelter and support services. Your donation will go directly to the residents at one of their three shelters (The Adult House, Posada Esperanza, and Abri Lumiere). Posada Esperanza, the shelter for women and children, always welcomes donations of women and children’s clothing and household items.

Arms of Hope is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Christian care organization that assists children and single-mother families in need through their residential care programs. Arms of Hope also reaches disadvantaged children in their own neighborhoods in various communities with its Outreach Ministry programs.
Through its Residential Child Care, Together, College and Career, Right Start, and Outreach Ministry programs, Arms of Hope is committed to providing a safe haven and Christian environment for children and single-mother families by helping them avoid homelessness, poverty, abuse and neglect and by leading them to lives of sustaining and productive citizenship. Our residents attend public school, nearby universities or trade schools and participate in school, church and campus activities.

Dress for Success austin

Through their six active career development programs, Dress for Success provides women with the resources, tools and support they need to not only secure gainful, fulfilling employment, but to continue growing personally and professionally long after their last appointment.
Dress for Success accepts clothing; including dresses, suits, jackets, skirts, pants, and blouses; accessories, including shoes, jewelry, scarves and purses; and toiletries and cosmetics. All clothing and accessories must be business professional and in new or like-new condition, and all toiletries and cosmetics must be unopened. Please see the organization’s donation guidelines for more details on accepted items.
To make a donation, check their calendar to see when the next donation day is scheduled, and head to their headquarters at 3000 South Interstate 35 Frontage Road, Suite 180, Austin, TX, 78704 between 10am and 1pm. You can also use their site to book a drop off reservation. Please note you can bring a maximum of 10 career ready items for donation.

Sunrise offers pathways to housing for people experiencing homelessness through low-barrier access to wraparound services by providing innovative, trauma-informed, and person-centered programming that engages our communities and leads system-wide transformation.
Sunrise accepts gently used items, food, and gift cards to empower people experiencing homelessness. In-kind donations can be dropped off at their Hub location (4430 Menchaca Rd, Austin, TX 78745) from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm Monday to Friday.
texas reach out ministries
Texas Reach Out Ministries provides Christian men and women leaving the criminal justice system with safe housing, spiritual guidance, employment assistance, life skills, and support. Through their services, the organization prepares formerly incarcerated men and women to live life as productive citizens walking in the fullness of life with Christ.
Texas Reach Out has two clothing closets, one for men and one for women. When new residents arrive, they can choose two full outfits from the closet to get their wardrobe started. To organize a donation, reach out to info@texasreachout.org.
