Los angeles wildfire relief
First and foremost, my heart goes out to all those affected by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles. There are no words to explain the magnitude of the devastation- close friends of mine and their families have lost absolutely everything, and they, along with countless others, need our help to rebuild their lives.
It has been incredible to watch the LA community come together and support one another, and I have seen an outpouring of resources available right now for those who want to help. Sometimes I find that the sheer volume of information can be overwhelming, and it becomes difficult to know where to start. I’ve narrowed it down to a few organizations I’m personally supporting and am sharing them below. As we move forward through this tragedy, let’s remember that the road to recovery will be long, and our efforts can’t stop now. The people affected by these fires will need our continued support—not just in the days and weeks ahead, but in the months and years to come.
I’ll be continually updating this guide with the most current needs and information and will be adding more long-term resources, such as mental health services, as I discover them.
