Mission
Los Angeles Mission breaks the cycle of homelessness and poverty, by stabilizing people in a safe and spiritual environment, connecting them to solutions and walking with them on their journey.
What The LA Mission Does
The Los Angeles Mission is a faith-based organization that serves the immediate and long-term needs of homeless disadvantaged men, women and children. The organization views everyone as spiritual individuals worthy of dignity and assistance in their journey. Through their services and programs such as the Los Angeles Mission Life Recovery Program for Men, the 12-Month Life Start Residential Program and the Anne Douglas Center for Women, the LA mission aims to set individuals and families free from addictions and homelessness and help them become transformed by God.
Why I Love This Organization
As a member of the Catholic community, I understand faith has the power to transform lives and I believe every person is deserving of support. The LA Mission’s faith-based programming has a powerful impact on its participants and exemplifies these beliefs through their work.

Where Your Donation Ends Up
The LA mission provides clothes directly to their friends and neighbors in the downtown community and to clients participating in their programming.
One program that your donation will contribute to is the Mommy & Me program. In this program, women and their children can visit The Anne Douglas Center for Women and receive a hot breakfast while “shopping” for clothing in the Mission’s donated-clothing room.
The LA mission will also use your donation in their emergency food & shelter service, where they distribute meals, shelter, clothing and hygiene items to individuals that visit their center.
